Working at stuff, but not resulting in courses built. A few fiction books figured out in a collaboration. And three anthologies on their way. Nothing published this week.

Book sales this week:
Note: Amazon Fiction – 3/26 (Amazon still in summer doldrums. Email traffic produced those sales. Nearly quadrupled CYL sales by dropping price to .99 – meaning about $4.20 in royalties compared to $5.24 – but I’ve had thousand-dollar months off that book at such a price before. Needs promotion.)
Lulu sales for June: 4 ebooks, 141 paper/hardback (avg per week – 35 | avg. royalty – $3.40) only one fiction out of that, and only reprints (none mine). Next report (for August) Sept 15.
New Podcast Episodes:
Lots of time spent on analysis last week, building new fiction, collaborating with First Reader. Also, fencing and changing pastures with cattle. Thurs was a wash. Then got onto building these anthologies on Friday – which took until I quit to write this and emails today. I have the covers now, and they are ready except for blurbs. (I tend to get into a flow on covers and like to stay in that gear while I am.)
Not much to say except – have to focus simply on getting things done.
Probably need to do my monthly analysis when the Lulu results come in on the 15th. This was a good action to do last week.
And I have three more books in the queue to write as fiction. Lots of background data to them – a new way of book preps. At least I’m not losing my notes and impetus on each. This also lays out how to build longer books this way, something I could use, apparently.
Last week’s analysis shows I really need to quit listening to the Amazon-only crowd (which is most of the advice you get). Just sit down and start getting all my top-sellers into best shape and promote them.
So the core point this week is to get that next course done and up as an alpha with audio, at least.
Notes: Started counting Kobo as I can get weekly amounts there. Might get into iTunes and nuke my books there, since they are to hard to deal with and I can get there by aggregator easier. Otherwise, risk duplicate publishing. Pushing Kobo will keep my attention on this scene.
Do have something to say to my book-course people – goes back to how writers burn themselves out when they try to write to market. Might be a post – but I’ve got more drafts sitting there already. Last week’s analysis should be a post at some point.
Core analysis point is to get courses up at least as alpha where I have the audio already.
